Subject: Status Report as of December 1, 2016
This report provides a brief summary of the status of recommendations received by the Board of Supervisors to improve the County’s custody operations and facilities. Review and analysis of these recommendations was assigned to Finance and Government Operations Committee, which commenced special hearings to consider the recommendations on August 26, 2016. The prior monthly report as of November 1, 2016 listed 645 recommendations that had been received by the Board and were under consideration of the Finance and Government Operations Committee (“Committee”). Based on the November 1, 2016 report, 182 recommendations, or 28.2 percent of the total had been reviewed by the Committee.
