This report provides a brief summary of the status of recommendations received by the Board of Supervisors to improve the County’s custody operations and facilities. As of October 1, 2016, the Board had received a total of 655 recommendations from 15 sources. Review and analysis of these recommendations by the Finance and Government Operations Committee through special hearings commenced on August 26, 2016 when the Committee reviewed 105 recommendations.
