Approval & Advertisement of Project
The design of the project is completed and the associated construction documents are now ready for advertisement. Per Public Contract Code 20124, the Board of Supervisors (Board) is required to adopt the completed construction documents and authorize advertisement of the Invitation to Bid.
Reason for Authorization
Authorization to the County Executive, or designee, is needed to make minor modifications to bid documents to respond to clarifying questions raised by prospective bidders. If approved the Facilities and Fleet Department (FAF) will request ratification of any modifications at the time the contract award is recommended to the Board. FAF will provide the complete final version of the contract documents to the Clerk of the Board to be retained as the official public record.
