SUBJECT: Terminating Contracts for Acute Incustody Mental Health Services
The County maintains a housing unit located on the 8th floor of the Main Jail North which is designed, equipped, and staffed specifically to address the needs of inmates that require full time mental health care. The housing unit is known internally as the Acute Mental Healthcare housing unit, or simply “8A”.
