$20,000 relating to payment of a reward for information leading to the arrest of two escapees from the County Jail

Subsequent to a public announcement of the offer of a $20,000 reward for information leading to the capture and arrest of two escaped inmates, the Sheriff’s Office received several tips from individual citizens which were material in locating, capturing, and arresting the escaped individuals.  Approval of the recommended action will allow payment of the reward without an impact to the County General Fund.
