The Sheriff’s Office Custody Bureau/Department of Correction currently has a large number of vacant Sheriff’s Correctional Deputy positions.  In addition, the Sheriff’s Office projects that there is a high number of currently employed Sheriff’s Correctional Deputies and Correctional Officers who will soon become eligible for retirement.
