As described in more detail below, the Finance and Government Operations Committee (FGOC) considered the proposed amendments to the Ordinance Code, County Charter, and Board Policy Manual at three public meetings.  On December 14, 2017, FGOC approved forwarding the proposal for an Office of Correction and Law Enforcement Monitoring to the Board with a favorable recommendation.
