The Facilities and Fleet Department (FAF) has completed the design phase of the subject projects and the associated construction documents are ready for advertisement. Per Public Contract Code 20124, the Board of Supervisors is required to adopt the completed construction documents and authorize advertisement of the Invitation to Bid.
Delegation is needed during the advertisement period because inconsistencies and discrepancies may be discovered in the contract documents. FAF will provide the complete final version of the contract documents to the Clerk of the Board to be retained as the official public record.
