Unknown cost – but clearly minimal – to the General Fund.  According to a survey of commercial uniform supply companies, the average cost of a detention top is $7 and $10 for bottoms.  Since each inmate is assigned three cover tops and two pant bottoms upon admission, the estimated cost of clothing for 100 inmates would be less than $4,500, including taxes.
