On February 7, 2017, Item 82, the Board approved recommendations relating to Capital Project 263-CP17017, “Santa Clara County Main Jail North Fire Alarm Replacement Project”.
On February 9, 2017 the Facilities and Fleet Department (FAF) released ITB-FAF-FY17-0159, “Santa Clara County Main Jail North Fire Alarm Replacement”. FAF received two (2) bids for the subject project by the bid period close date of March 9, 2017, as shown below:
1) Fire Detection Unlimited, Inc. (FDU) $843,000
2) Cupertino Electric, Inc. 2,979,297
