The labor agreement with UAPD expired on October 30, 2016. The County and UAPD met in twelve negotiations sessions between June 2, 2016, and October 18, 2016 to discuss a successor agreement. On October 18, 2016, negotiations between the County and UAPD resulted in a tentative agreement for the term October 31, 2016 through October 20, 2019. The members ratified the tentative agreement on October 25, 2016.
