Legacy notified the County on July 8, 2020 that they had “made the strategic decision to cease offering inmate telephone (“ITS”) and inmate video visitation (“VVS”) services and “will cease these operations no later than the end of 2020.” Legacy intends to refocus their resources entirely on its Edovo Education and Rehabilitation platform for tablets. They will continue to provide such platform as a SaaS solution on tablets provided by other inmate communications providers. Legacy sought permission from the County to assign the JISP Agreement in whole to GTL who will be bound to deliver on all terms of the Agreement.
