During its December 13, 2017 meeting, the Board of Supervisors directed the Sheriff’s Office to present a report regarding its recruitment plan over the next eighteen months, as well as the timeline and capacity of each Academy, to address the staffing deficits in the Sheriff’s Office. The report must also address the current shortfall and anticipated additional staffing needs.
