During the construction phase it was discovered that tying the new nurse call system with the existing nurse call system was not possible. Since the facility would not be able to be used as envisioned without a working nurse call system, FAF issued a change order in the amount of $301, 920 to extend the new nurse call system throughout the facility. The remaining contingency balance has been used to address unforeseen items and minor design deficiencies to keep the project on its original estimated completion date in September 2017.
