The Elmwood W4C Medical Exam Room project was initially funded for design only. That stage is now complete and the County is ready to enter the construction phase for which additional funding is required. The planned modifications of the space, a reconfiguration of the women’s facilities into a medical examination room, will provide for more secure movement of inmates by minimizing the distances they must be transported. If approved, modifications would be complete by Spring 2017.
